How to get started

Open the App Store or Google Play Store on your smartphone and download the free Dext app.
Log in using the custom credentials sent directly to your email.
The next time you buy business supplies or pay for a business lunch, open the app and snap a clear photo of the receipt.

SWIFT rule of thumb

Once the green checkmark flashes confirming the photo was uploaded, you can physically throw the paper receipt in the trash! Dext automatically reads the vendor, date, and tax amount, and sends it straight to my ledger. Try to snap your receipts as you go so your books stay beautifully up-to-date!

Easy mileage tracking with MileIQ

How to get started

Download the MileIQ app onto your smartphone and log in with your account details.
Ensure your phone's location services are set to "Always Allow" for the app.
Leave the app running quietly in the background—it will use your GPS to automatically log every single drive you take.

SWIFT rule of thumb

Once or twice a week (maybe on your Friday afternoon wind-down), open the app and look at your unclassified drives. Simply swipe right for business drives, or swipe left for personal drives. That’s it! The app compiles everything into a flawless tax report that I will pull for you at year-end.
